Just started learning in my late 50’s , Chris is perfect for me, being patient and laid back as well as a fantastic drummer. He is structured, happy to teach songs I want to play while developing technique and skills along the way.Highly recommended.

When your child, in my case my 14 year old daughter, actively pushes you out the front door at 6pm after school to go to their drum lesson, you know you have found the right tutor. While she has had good drum teachers in the past, none compare to Chris. His calm, easy going demeanour coupled with his technical knowledge and experience somehow sets her up to do things she didn't think she could do. We now have a rhythm section in the house that no longer sounds like someone randomly smashing stuff together. Instead she can accompany almost anything I throw at her. Chris has a gift and we highly recommend him to anyone looking to start or improve their drum skills.

As an older student, I was a bit nervous about starting lessons, despite having wanted to learn for as long as I could remember. Chris quickly put me at ease, and the lessons have been super fun and challenging in the best way. He listened to what I wanted to get out of the lessons, and structured them around this. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend - if you're toying with the idea yourself, go for it! Plus, the drum kit is sparkly, so that's always a plus!

Chris put together some great sessions for our son which have really helped ignite his enthusiasm for drumming. The sessions gave him the experience of playing with other musicians, putting the theory into practice and really boosted his confidence.Chris is a great tutor who is obviously passionate about drumming and I’d highly recommend his sessions to any budding drummers.

Our Son wanted a way to put his drum lessons in practice in a band. It was a nightmare getting anything resembling a band together but Chris stepped in and organised a couple of sessions with budding guitarists of a similar level. He had a great time at both sessions and can’t wait to go back - booked in again for December - praise indeed from a 15yr old!
